স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ

স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ চেয়েছিলেন মানবজীবনে চতুর্বিধ যোগের সামঞ্জস্য। যোগচতুষ্টয়ের অন্যতম ‘কর্মযোগ’। এই গ্রন্থে স্বামীজী তাঁর অননুকরণীয় ভাষায় ‘কর্মযোগ’ সম্বন্ধে মনোজ্ঞ আলোচনা করেছেন। স্বামীজীর মতে, যে কোনও সৎকর্মই ঈশ্বরের আরাধনা, কর্মমাত্রই পূজা। এই পথে মানুষ যেমন জগতের প্রতি নিজ কর্তব্য পালন করতে পারে, তেমনি জ্ঞানার্জনও করতে পারে।

ভক্তিযোগ

অকপটভাবে ঈশ্বরানুসন্ধানই ভক্তিযোগ; প্রীতি ইহার আদি, মধ্য ও অন্ত। মুহূর্তস্থায়ী ভগবৎ-প্রেমোন্মত্ততা হইতেও শাশ্বতী মুক্তি আসিয়া থাকে। নারদ তদীয় 'ভক্তিসূত্রে' বলিয়াছেন, 'ভগবানে পরম প্রেমই ভক্তি।' 'ইহা লাভ করিলে জীব সর্বভূতে প্রেমবান ও ঘৃণাশূন্য হয় এবং অনন্তকালের জন্য তৃপ্তিলাভ করে।' 'এই প্রেমের দ্বারা কোন কাম্য বস্তু লাভ হইতে পারে না, কারণ বিষয়বাসনা থাকিতে এই প্রেমের উদয়ই হয় না।' 'কর্ম, জ্ঞান এবং যোগ হইতেও ভক্তি অধিকতরা, কারণ সাধ্যবিশেষই উহাদের লক্ষ্য, কিন্তু ভক্তি স্বয়ংই সাধ্য ও সাধনস্বরূপা।'
