Ramakrishna Math, Bagbazar celebrates National Sports Day with a special Youth & Sports Programme themed "Khelega Bharat, Jitega Bharat" (Sports Will Win India). Held on Friday, 28th August 2026 from 10:30 AM at 1, Udbodhan Lane, Bagbazar, Kolkata, the event opens with Vedic chanting and blessings from Swami Nityamuktananda, Adhyaksha. Keynote addresses feature Everest climber Ujjal Roy, ex-national footballer and coach Mridul Banerjee, and West Bengal 800m record-holder Uma Chowdhury, inspiring youth toward physical culture and character-building. The programme includes an interactive youth session with felicitation of local athletes, followed by the presidential address, vote of thanks, and closing song.
